Whenever I visit @ferensartgallery it is always a treat to spend some time enjoying the incredible and intimate still life in the collection by Dutch painter Pieter Janssens Elinga. That bread roll is so incredible and as fresh as the day it was painted almost 400 years ago 😲🙌
