Pavement marking and striping work is happening across @FergusonTwpPA this week. Crews will be working overnight.
Please use caution in work zones and expect minor delays.
I am grateful for his lifelong commitment to public service. My thoughts are with the Bachman family as they remember his life and the legacy he leaves behind.
Don Bachman served as Ferguson Township’s very first Township Manager from 1975 to 1985, helping to shape the foundation of our community under the Home Rule Charter adopted in 1974.
Beyond Ferguson Township, Mr. Bachman served as the first Executive Director of the Centre County Solid Waste Authority, helping to establish our countywide recycling program, and he served our nation in the U.S. Air Force during the Korean War from 1948 to 1952.
Ferguson Township recently adopted a proclamation recognizing Rural Roads Safety Week, and Centre County @PAFarmBureau member & Rural Road Safety Advocate Evalene Ishler accepted it at their Spring Meeting. Please share the road with care. Learn more: https://t.co/0nXOcgD57y
The @FergusonTwpPA Public Works crews are out early treating roads for ice and snow. Please drive with care—some slick spots may remain, and conditions can change quickly. #WinterSafety#PublicWorks
❄️ As the season’s first winter storm moves on, our Public Works crews have once again gone above and beyond. Their dedication, grit, and round-the-clock service kept our roads safe and our community moving. We are deeply grateful. 👏

The staff of @FergusonTwpPA are prepared for today’s winter storm. Through a coordinated, multi-departmental effort, the Township has plan in place. Grateful for the dedicated public servants who show up—storm after storm—to keep our community safe and moving.
As of this morning power has been restored to Teaberry Ridge, most of Park Forest and some parts of Park Hills. West Penn Power has dispatched additional crews to the Heights, Turnberry, and Park Hills West. Currently estimated restoration time is 11AM this morning.
I am monitoring the power outage affecting the Teaberry, Park Hills, and Park Forest neighborhoods. Everyone should avoid all areas were trees and lines are down. West Penn Power will be the best point of contact for estimated restoration time.
