@ryanb1188 @JNole444 @IwillrouteU I can’t wait for the Orange Bowl championship parade. Hopefully it doesn’t overlap with the all B1G National Championship game in the ESPN Invitational.
@TheLauferm@IwillrouteU You nailed it. The CFP is purely for entertainment value and not a true playoff for a competitive team sport. Does the NBA, NFL or MLB seed teams for the most “competitive games”? Let’s just call it what is
@BFW Honest question - so when do the games matter vs eye test/injury? Eye test/injury kept FSU out but now the UGA game matters? I mean if we are counting the games now, do you agree UM/UW beats UGA by 2-3 scores? UGA at full strength lost to Bama who lost to UT who lost to UW?
@TJ_Pittinger@Coach_Norvell Love the narrative shift from the eye test/injury keeping FSU out to this UGA game actually mattering. Which is it? Can’t wait for the Orange Bowl Championship parade.
UM/UW drag UGA with their opt outs/transfers (quitters?) so they at least got that right 🤣
@ryanb1188 @JNole444 @IwillrouteU Wait, games matter now or are we using the eye test and injury provisions? Remember FSU lost its starting QB so they were already disqualified and given the loss whether by 1 or 100.
UM/UW beat UGA by at least 2-3 scores with all UGA’s opt outs and transfers so CFP got right
@IwillrouteU I take it you watched the game? Michigan’s special teams were indeed “special” or no OT was needed. The CFP Committee and ESPN love the “eye test” and the eye test said Michigan was the much better team.
@TJ_Pittinger I’m just glad we didn’t have to watch Michigan or Washington steamroll UGA. I mean Michigan beat Bama who beat UGA at full strength and Washington beat Texas who beat Bama at home by 10. Would have been ugly and terrible for TV ratings
