RIP Ralph Riach One of the nicest, kindest, funniest men i've ever had the pleasure of working with. Ralph took me in for my audition at RSAMD in 1983. I loved my time with him on Hamish MacBeth and feel blessed that i had that opportunity. Farewell 'TV John' ❤️
Hey Outside of working with resin, I am a 3rd year university student. As a task we have to work in a group. We are researching the negative impacts of social media. I would really appreciate if you had a spare minute to fill out this questionnaire. Thanks

Please add your name to the petition demanding an end to "fire and rehire". It's a loophole that lets companies fire staff and rehire them on a way worse contract. Please add your name: https://t.co/gF4tuiBlBM
Extraordinary scenes at some UK ports - after P&O halted ferries to fire all crew and replace with a third party contractor… images circulating of what we are told are handcuff trained security with some wearing balaclavas taking British crew off, after they were fired on zoom…
@jennbutterworth@laurabethsalter You’re doing such important work - whether you know it or not - that the English model of ignoring Covid is particularly frustrating. Masks still seem a mark of basic respect for others.
Whereas fracking just causes environmental damage, mini-earthquakes and destroys local water supplies so is the much better option. Farage/Redwood etc going all out to attack the net-zero climate option with full scale pollution of UK.
What other country would refuse to produce its own gas, insisting on importing instead? The government says new wind farms are better, but they stop when the wind drops or when it blows too hard.
@PeterStefanovi2 He didn’t lose his temper, he ACTED losing his temper. Cynical faux outrage in order to muddy Tory record… yet more gaslighting, this time for Hansard and for press headlines.
@laurabethsalter daft halfpenny… ? Half penny was pronounced haypenny. Pre-decimal half pennies could buy you sweets but was also the smallest coin. Turns into daft ‘apenny… or daft happenny’s worth… my mum was from Yorkshire and this sounds familiar… half penny being small means little/child
This story should receive more attention. Barclay twins - mega millionaire owners of the Telegraph - did not need to take Russian money. But they did and they paid Boris Johnson a fat retainer to write his weekly column. Recycled dirty money is one way to see this arrangement
Brown deliberately distorts the civil, centre-left & European nature of modern Scots nationalism—which he kens perfectly well, from his engagements with Tom Nairn—for partisan Ukanian-Labour reasons. I have very little respect for the man, often as grubby a player as any of them
No it ain’t! If the U.K. was the same type of “union” of countries that the EU is then the U.K. would be an attractive “union” to the smaller countries within it. As the U.K. is a “union” whereby the biggest country decides the financial politic of all the others, it’s repellent.
@mrjamesob@doctor_oxford Johnson is the perfect target for a foreign spy: vain, easily swayed by flattery, self-entitled so thinks he’s far clever than he is, womanising heavy drinker, greedy for money, lacking self-awareness, common sense, morals and integrity.
@chrisriddell50 And the Russians doing all the wiring for the £2.3 million briefing room. Best twitter joke today: Putin knew about the Downing Street parties before we did.
