A's catcher Bruce Maxwell is kneeling for the National Anthem. He's the first MLB player to do so. Maxwell has hand on heart, facing flag

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@elinalynne @Athletics "What conversation?"
"The one right here"
"I meant publicly"
"We are having numerous town halls"
"I don't have time for that"
OK.

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@K_Salv @Buster_ESPN @susanslusser Except when we were major buyers literally 2 years ago and everyone whines then, too.

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@Mattoaklandas @Athletics Who cares? He's not good.

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@dpsmith22 @FakeBobFitz Dogging it to 1st on groundouts and reports from old teams about attitude stuff, cancerous is maybe a bit strong

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@UpRightBaseball @Athletics wow good one bro

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@UpRightBaseball @Athletics HURR DURR VERY SMART ORIGINAL JOKE. Only took the Giants 52 years in SF to win a championship.

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@UberEATS At least Eat 24 follows up and fixes mistakes. Apparently I ordered from the only burger place in existence that closes at 1pm

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@UberEATS And in fact the only reason the restaurant was closed is because my incorrect order took 20 minutes more than estimated

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@UberEATS Botched my order and told me the restaurant was closed so no replacement. Offered me $10 coupon. No thanks, never using this again

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@SportsHackCA @Athletics You realize there's no way we could afford all of them at once? Some bad trades but no way we keep all of them

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

Shout-out to the @Athletics for replacing my Sean Doolittle gnome. You guys have great customer service/an awesome social media team!

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@Athletics Would be happy to provide proof of ticket purchase, video proof of gnome not working, etc.

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@Athletics Finally unboxed my Doolittle gnome, sound doesn't work. Changed batteries, nada. Any chance you have replacements lying around?

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@Athletics @vincebaseball #GreenCollarTalk Why do we continue to play Billy "Automatic GIDP" Butler? Especially batting cleanup?

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@Athletics Please don't ever play Butler again. Ever. I have never hated an A half as much as him. We would all be happier without him.

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@Athletics Billy Butler is giving me cancer. Just eat the cost and stop playing him. He's worse than useless.

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@CBSBigBrother Battle of the Block sucks. Just 4 pawns with someone throwing it every week. Fan favorite my ass. #BB17 #EndBotB

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@maxmuncy9 Dude you've been killing it out there. Keep up those great at bats

[Jeremy Johnson @Jermophile]

@Athletics Regardless of the results of today's game, Jesse Hahn did a good job tonight. Looked shell-shocked after the game but shouldn't
