@ConstableChaos Easy answers from someone who now fits them… various “amplifiers” have had the standard wattage dropped from 100W to 60/80W to reduce complaints and cost.
Cheap is never better. Side by side a cheap setup to an expensive and it’s a world of difference.
@NatashaMDay@JessicaSpara 5.11s… knee pads are an extra but worth it in the “EMS” trousers. Angled pockets, big enough to fit anything you need on shift in the cargos, the material is fantastic and keeps (me anyway) cooler than my issued trousers. Well worth the investment.
@TheRealRead I don’t think I’ve ever been to an arrest with only one DCA either running or already on scene… maybe I was just lucky and we had excellent CFRs as well.
@George_Brbr I was in a meeting with an undisclosed trust as part of an event SAG collaboration. They were very clear that should a mass casualty happen at that event (inner, v large city) to not expect a single NHS resource for 45minutes+…

Nurses said was “one of those things” and we get OTC hydrocortisone cream for it.
