Today's KiCad challenge ⚡
A friend and I designed a 12V DC to 3.3V DC power supply circuit that's ready for PCB manufacturing.
Since I'm still new to PCB design, I didn't want to just copy a circuit. I wanted to understand why every component was there.
So I used ChatGPT as a tutor, not to design the circuit for me, but to explain every design decision before moving to the next step.
I learned about: • Reverse polarity protection • Filtering with capacitors • Voltage regulator calculations • Reading datasheets • ERC errors

I challenged myself to recreate a 3D model I found on Pinterest using AutoCAD.
I've been learning AutoCAD for a few months now, starting with 2D drawings, then isometric drawings, and now 3D modeling.
This project wasn't about learning a new tool,
it was about practicing what I already know and pushing myself to become more precise with every drawing.
One thing I'm learning is that growth doesn't always come from learning something new. Sometimes, it comes from putting your current skills to the test.
My goal is to eventually understand electronics well enough to design complete schematics and PCBs from scratch without relying on tutorials.

Started my PCB design journey with KiCad today.
The board I'm sharing isn't my own design. I recreated it by following a 24-minute YouTube tutorial to understand the complete workflow.
A few things that really stood out to me:
• Schematics become PCB layouts.
The biggest lesson?
You can't just place components anywhere and hope routing will be easy. Good PCB design requires planning, accuracy, organization, and attention to detail.
a single responsibility and passing only the arguments it needed.
This challenge taught me that sometimes the fastest way to grow isn't by learning something new—it's by pushing what you already know until it clicks.

I recently challenged myself with a Python exercise generated by ChatGPT.
The catch? I could only use concepts I'd already learned, and after reading the requirements, I wasn't allowed to look up solutions online or ask AI for help. I had to reason through every problem on my own
That one decision changed everything.
While building a Student Record Management System, I found myself using a nested dictionary for the first time and finally understood how useful it is. I also gained a much deeper understanding of functions by giving each function
Starting today, I'm documenting my journey to becoming a systems builder.
