Today is the first day of Turning Point USA’s Women’s Leadership Summit and I want to quickly remind everyone about the Young Women’s Leadership Summit last year. The last women’s conference Charlie Kirk will ever host. It was truly a beautiful moment with him and his amazing wife Erika Kirk.

This year’s Summit will be the first without him, and my heart truly goes out to his family, his children and his supporters. It’s hard to imagine these big events without him sometimes, but I know that they are proof his legacy is still alive.

With that being said, I am so excited for this year’s WLS and I hope every woman comes out of there stronger, smarter, and faithful. ✝️🩷

In 14 years Turning Point has grown into the largest and most amazing conservative movement in America, and all thanks to its founder, Charlie Kirk.

I and many others will miss him everyday, but it’s days like today during the anniversary of this movement AND on the first day of Women’s Leadership Summit that we remember that his movement did not die, will not die, and is impacting our great nation for the best.

Many don’t know the history of TPUSA, specifically how it came to be against all odds. Charlie launched an organization in the shadows of the Obama re-elect campaign headquarters in Chicago and although every established political force on the Left and the right tried to stop it, it grew into the most influential activist organization in modern American history.

I was privileged to meet him not long after that and join the man with what I believed was the only viable mission to save the country that was unlike anything anyone else in the conservative movement was willing to do.

Like Charlie exemplified, we work every day to continue this legacy of recruiting, training and mobilizing a new generation of young citizens who care about the country enough to do something about it.

I miss the hourly back and forth we would have on “what’s next” but know that every one of us has the opportunity to continue the work and make his vision that started in 2012 a reality.
