@BenjiNaesen I agree, unless it was a tactital move to force QuickStep and INEOS to help. They didn’t seem to wanna help when it was just Visma and Jayco leading, so Visma attacks to show them that no matter how they roll it, they’ll have to work too?
@budgeth_@cycletips123 Agreed, it doesn’t mean the opposite either - if he rode like that in the Tour it would be boring though, cuz Pogi would win every hard stage, and Jonas would come away with nothing.
@panterjlan@KristerNorstran @NaichacaCycling Still not close to doing the double - and he only won Giro cuz they let him. He was bonked first 14 days, and Yates should’ve killed him then, but didn’t.
@panterjlan @NaichacaCycling Last person to do the Giro-Tour double was from that same generation. Last Big GC guy trying was Contador a few times, and even he failed hard. Does that make Pogacar a cheat too?
Be happy that we have an open race, and not another Giro copy…
@1973_jesper@Jesper_Simoni@BenjiNaesen Jonas didn’t even have a bottle when he caught up with him, as far as I saw.
Guess cooked Jonas > cooked Pogacar, probably the reason Jonas is usually better in week 3.
