Power Encounter 2025: Day 4 Highlights
"Why do some believers struggle despite their prayers? What unlocks divine abundance?"
These were the questions that defined Day 4 of Power Encounter 2025 as Bishop Dr. Dominic Newlove Allotey, Founder and Senior Pastor of Living Faith Ministries International Inc., expounded on the power of sacrificial giving in his sermon titled “Prayer, Fasting, and Sacrifices.”
He cautioned against selfish giving and urged believers to give with the right heart, knowing that sacrifice speaks even beyond one’s lifetime. Citing Psalms 20:1-3, he reminded the congregation that God remembers our offerings and burnt sacrifices in times of trouble. Hezekiah’s story was a clear example—his sacrifices spoke for him when a prophecy of death was pronounced over his life.
The atmosphere was charged with faith as the congregation responded with renewed commitment—praying fervently, realigning their priorities, and embracing a deeper understanding of kingdom stewardship.
Key Takeaways from Day 4:
1. Your sacrifices can avert negative prophecies over your life (Psalms 20:1-3)
2. When you are walking in a curse, you work for the land; when you are walking in a blessing, the land works for you
3. Faith is always required in sacrifice—without faith, we cannot truly obey God (Hebrews 11:4)
4. People controlled by things find it difficult to give, but true givers walk in divine favor
