Legal professionals agree that the Biosecurity Act is in fact a stretch of the ‘quarantine’ power. The main powers in responding to COVID are emergency management, law and order and public health, which are all left to the states.

@wendycollins62 @pullinbracken @JoshFrydenberg You do realise that your statement is factually incorrect? I don’t think you have any knowledge in constitutional law. The federal government has no jurisdiction over emergency management and is left powerless over the coronavirus restrictions.
