@rephalrogers Over 50,000 unidentified children are waiting for rescue. Urge Congress to move on the Renewed Hope Act to rescue children seen in abuse images. These children cannot wait!
This! This is the cry of people tired of having to justify their existence. In 2023 we have a legislative majority in Frankfort so unhinged and extreme, they’d rather LGBTQ kids don’t exist than create a more compassionate and inclusive Kentucky. If you don’t have to fight to be humanized in the eyes of your government, enjoy your privilege, because it is exhausting.

So we went to Asbury to see what was happening for ourselves. The picture below is a physical picture of what the body of Christ looks like. This little boy was probably 7-9 years old. He embraced this college aged man for hours. He laid hands on him. He prayed over him. He stayed by his side until midnight when it was time to leave. He wasn’t his family. They didn’t know one another. Their skin didn’t look the same. This small boy just saw a hurting person and went to him. We should take this to heart. This is what loving like Jesus looks like.
It was beautiful. Masses of young people are being touched by the Holy Spirit. Older people too:) Lives are being transformed. True repentance is ringing out. Alters filled for hours on end. It was BEAUTIFUL. I am so excited to see what God is doing across the world. I want to encourage those of you who maybe wanted to go and couldn’t or who are starving for a move of God. While this place is clearly filled with the presence of the Holy Spirit, this is not an isolated incident.
I have felt this many times in many places, including the privacy of my own home. He is right there waiting for you. I’m not saying don’t go somewhere where there is a clear move of God happening. If you can go, go. But if you can’t, just know that God is not limited to these types of events. Ask God to move where you are. Ask God if perhaps you need to move. Ask God to move in you in the quiet of your own personal prayer time. He will meet you right where you are. Come to Him with an expectant heart. He won’t disappoint you. He is so much more than you could ever imagine. Abundantly more.
If you don’t know who Jesus is and want to know what all the hype is about, reach out to me:) Love you all. Be encouraged. God is on the move! Hope is rising!
Today, the Democratic governor of a Trump+26 state defended the rights of LGBTQ people to be treated with dignity and respect, as he has for the past three years.
He has a 60% approval rating.
Show empathy and compassion, and you'd be surprised how many people stand with you.
Teachers are world-changers.
Let's commit to making sure they get the respect they deserve and the resources they need to build a better future for Kentucky's kids.
Education shouldn't be political. It should be about what's best for Kentucky's children.
I am determined to prioritize what's best for our kids, our families and our future. My Education First Plan will do that.
Rep Liz Cheney (R-WY) tonight: “Two years ago I won this primary with 73% of the vote. I could’ve done so again. The path was clear. But it would’ve required that I went along with President Trump’s lie about the 2020 election”
Starting today, Kentuckians now have access to 988. The 3-digit hotline connects Kentuckians facing thoughts of suicide, mental health distress or an addiction crisis with compassionate and trained counselors who can help. If you or someone you know needs help, dial 9-8-8.
In July 2022, #988 will be the USA's national 3-digit MH crisis number. What does this mean for culturally responsive services for folks facing MH emergencies? Join us for an #ElevateTheConvo Twitter chat Thursday June 23 at 8pm ET #mentalhealth#suicideprevention#BIPOC#LGBTQ
Under my plan no one making less than $400,000 per year will pay a penny more in federal taxes.
But we’ll no longer have a situation where 55 of the largest corporations in America pay zero in federal income taxes on $40 billion in profits.
Over the next week, many schools will prepare for summer break. As classes end, let's give thanks to our teachers and school staff for another great year. Our future is built in our classrooms and these folks are ensuring Kentucky's future is bright.
As a man of faith, and as Governor and a citizen of our great commonwealth, I was proud to finally be able to host the annual Governor's Prayer Breakfast in person. Let us love our neighbor and work together for a better Kentucky where every person can live and thrive.
Every time I walk into a classroom I get excited for the road ahead. Our kids are smart, kind and full of excitement, and they deserve the brightest future.
Let's give them the best head start by investing early through universal pre-K. It's the right thing to do.
