Janet L. Gooch has been named the new chancellor at #UISedu starting July 1, pending formal approval by the Board of Trustees. She is currently executive vice president for academic affairs and provost at Truman State University.

Veteran #UISedu Police Officer Ross Owens has been named the new UIS Police Chief, pending BOT approval. Owens has worked for the UIS PD for 22 years, having most recently served as the interim police chief since January 2021.
