There was chaos in Year 5 this week! All the stock in the cupboard managed to get mixed up so our Year 5’s had to use their problem solving skills to successfully separate different materials. Great effort, Year 5! 🌟#JESSPriScience
Thank you to Art Dubai who delivered a fantastic session teaching the children how to design abstract flags! We are very lucky to have been a part of The Flag Project, by Jacob Dahlgren, and look forward to seeing whether the JESS winners will be picked for the final! #JESSPriArt

What a great trip we had at Expo today! A perfect link to our theme, Foundations of the Future, where we learnt about how technology has developed over time and took part in an incredible robotics workshop. Check out the video to see what we got up to! #JESSPriTheme#Expo
The children are very proud of their finished non-chronological reports about explorers. They even received ‘Commitment’ #JESSCoreValues stickers for their dedication to their work! @JESSPrimary#JESSPriEnglish
FS2 had a very busy week as we launched our Traditional Tales topic. Making porridge, creating trees, designing houses and sewing blankets for the three bears are just a few of the exciting activities in our classrooms this week.
Before the break the children enjoyed learning about the holy month of Ramadan, they listened to stories and created their own lanterns and telescopes to find out the Ramadan moon #JessPriIslamic @JESSDubai @JESSPrimary
This week in science, Year 4 made their own switches using classroom materials to help develop their understanding of complete and incomplete circuits. Great work Year 4! #JESSPriScience

Today we used the digital microscopes to examine mould growing on cheese…will we see similar results on our bread?!
We've been feeling the force this week in Y5. Using Newton metres we tested our shoes to find out how much force is needed to move them on different surfaces. #jesspriscience
We have had a great start to our Explorers theme by learning to take notes on our 4 focus explorers for the term. We found artefact boxes in our classroom full of photos, maps and non-fiction sources of information. We can’t wait to find out more! #JESSPriEnglish@JESSPrimary
