@ByfieldForHart NHL coaches don’t lose their jobs, they just temporarily lose their turn. New talent is desperately needed and the nepo-friends network really needs to go away.
@NHLRussell The Kings will rise to the occasion”, come out on fire and upset the Blues tonight. Then they get a lower draft pick, upgrade the pick for Laughton they owe to 2nd and give hope to making the playoffs where they will get smoked. Ultimately changing nothing. Status quo. 🐂 💩
@jonnyrosen Just prolongs the time the Kings are stuck in the black hole, drafting mediocre players at 17-21 in the first round. On the positive side, hey, someone finally wanted to come to LA. Maybe that will help rebuild some of the reputational damage for the organization.
@MarcelAndRogie The problem with trading Kempe for picks is that they will either choose poorly or then ruin their player’s development by burying them in Ontario until they eventually get to the big team where they are given garbage time 4th line minutes and benched for every little mistake
@MarcelAndRogie Can concur. From LA and lived in SJ for 10 years for work. Going to their building in Kings gear was basically guaranteed front row seats to douche behavior. I was actually pushed out of the commuter train while trying to get on after a game. They are such bitter, sad people.
