SIMPLY BELIEVE the Gospel of Christ (1 Cor 15:1-4) to receive God’s GIFT of everlasting life. NOT of ourselves. NOT of works. NO boasting. JESUS PAID IT ALL!
Faith without works is dead because it’s unprofitable to the brethren. Faith is not helping any other man out with no works accompanied by it. Still saves FROM HELL nonetheless. Won’t save from loss of rewards / an unfavorable judgement at the bema seat.
No works to receive the free gift of eternal life, which is by grace through faith in the gospel of Christ and NOT OF WORKS / NOT OF OURSELVES…
Guy obviously doesn’t read the Bible, literally says he walked away sad because he didn’t want to sell as his possessions proving he wasn’t keeping the commandments perfectly like he thought, he was covetous and in clear violation of a commandment.
The Lord was trapping him in his own thinking showing him he wasn’t as good as thought..
@EllaFlash@AloneJesusSaves@BasedMikeLee Crazy how it literally says “ANOTHER TESTAMENT” on the title. At least it’s honest that’s it’s peddling another jesus. Couldn’t be more simple to tell that this is an exact example of another jesus and another gospel the actual Word of God warns about…
@joshwhitlatch@GospelOnX Most people love their efforts. They can’t separate
“What MUST I do to be saved?”
From
How should I live as an eternally saved child of God?
They mix it all together. They don’t read what is actually said.
@Praise_Yah_@Allesontiire Context matters. The Lord was trapping him in his own thinking. The Lord knew that the man could not keep the commandments, and therefore wanted him to admit his need for a Savior outside of himself to save him.

If he believes commandment keeping is also what saves, that’s textbook rich young ruler error who thought he was good enough to enter life by keeping the commandments, which Jesus quickly shut down by trapping him in his own false thinking pointing out that he was covetous, in violation of the 10th commandment, and in need of a Savior just like every human is.
All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. By the deeds of the law there shall no flesh be justified in his sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin. All that believe are justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.
Also Matthew 7 crowd error
Simply believe the gospel of Christ (1 Corinthians 15:1-4) to be saved from the penalty of sin thereof in hell. The simplicity that is in Christ.

The only part of the born of the Spirit child of God that cannot sin-the Holy Spirit dwelling in the new man.
@LizzieMarbach The RCC from Scripture, rather rebranding mystery Babylonian paganism=papal worship=doctrines, commandments, sacraments, traditions of men.Jews/RC alike
Romans 10:3For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and going about to establish their own righteousness, have not..
@TaylorRMarshall Justification before man (works-man sees outward appearance)
Before God (faith counted for righteousness, not works. The Lord looketh on the heart, and it is with the heart one believeth unto righteousness)
