Don’t forget, nothing beats a #Jet2 holiday! ✈️
In 2012, 11-year-old Liam Corcoran stunned authorities when he managed to run away from home and sneak onto an international flight.
The boy slipped into Manchester Airport, blending in with another family, and astonishingly cleared five separate security checks without a passport, ticket, or luggage. He then boarded a Jet2 flight to Rome, where passengers were amused when Liam casually explained he was “just off on an adventure.”
The incident embarrassed airport officials, sparking a major investigation into glaring security lapses. Though Liam was safely returned to the UK after landing in Italy, the case highlighted serious flaws in passenger screening and raised concerns over airport security protocols, making headlines worldwide for its unusual and almost unbelievable circumstances.
