@jcduenes There are no current plans for this route. Even the Caracas route remains subject to receipt of government approval and completion of applicable processes to operate in Venezuela; if it is a successful route for us, other routes could be considered in the future.

Our airport crewmembers use a program to estimate how many carry-on bags may need to be checked to ensure the boarding process goes smoothly and the flight can depart on time. Our crewmembers at the gate and on board the plane work together to accomplish this goal. There are times when more bags are collected than the estimated number needed, which can lead to open space in the overhead bins. We understand this can be frustrating, and apologize for the inconvenience you experienced when asked to check your bag.
