@MikeFinn49 Let’s see. We already have 3 first round picks next draft class, Jets are anticipating a new young QB to take the helm, our dead cap goes from 100 million to virtually zero so we can bring in fresh new FAs but go ahead and tell me why we’d trade one of our best players
@Terorristic@biasedninersfan Of course he wants to win but he’s said repeatedly that he wants to win with the Jets. Wilson was the only player the Jets weren’t willing to deal last season. So I wouldn’t expect him to be dealt.
@JDM3_@njrealtornic The first round pick is just a sunken cost for them. Not much they can do now. They have a lot of expiring deals that they can take advantage of and sell off players now instead of keeping them for what appears to be a bleak future (really the next 2 years)
@Bingethecringe@RapSheet@AdamSchefter Thank you. Feels like pennies on the dollar for what could be a player who can help another playoff push for Seattle
@freejohn3122@KalshiSports@NFL Kinda my reasoning. Pre-draft concerns of injury and it’s already quickly showing up. To the point where we still have yet to see him play 7 weeks in.
@NYJ_Bk27@TrxppeZ To be fair to Mougey, the amount of dead cap we had this year is 100+. It’ll drop close to 0 with over 100 million freed up to bring in whatever players he wants. Everything’s been leading up to a huge 2027 draft class and free agency. We can expect to see a lot of new faces.
