When you convert to Judaism, you are converting to Judaism. If you converted to Judaism and you still have not let go of the beliefs of your old religion, especially beliefs that contradict Judaism & its people, you didn't really do it properly. That's not how it works.

Today in 1854, Paul Ehrlich was born.

This Jewish scientist discovered the first effective cure for Syphilis in 1909: Salvarsan.

He was awarded the Nobel Prize for Medicine (1908) for research on immunity.

The Nazis would attempt to erase his historic contributions to science.

31 January 1937 | A French Jewish girl, Nicole Grynblat, was born in Paris.

She arrived at #Auschwitz on 4 September 1942 in a transport of 1000 Jews deported from Drancy. After selection, she was murdered in the gas chamber.

Dr. Samuel Sarphati was born today in 1812.

A Sephardic Jew, he aided his community in the Netherlands as a physician for the poor.

Disturbed by this experience, he strived to improve social conditions not just for Jews but all citizens in the Netherlands.

She arrived at Auschwitz in a transport of 1010 Jews deported from Westerbork on 28 July 1942. She was murdered in the gas chamber after selection.
