By thinking ahead I was able to have items available for a historical display for the provincial Junior Farmers' reunion. History is worth saving and sharing.

Needing help identifying this speaker at the Junior Farmers' 1997 Provincial Conference. @FCCOntario was on the banquet program for speaking, so I'm thinking this could be a rep. Emailed 22 days ago and haven't heard back. The event was at the Peterborough Inn that year.
A milestone day as memorabilia collected from Junior Farmers Alumni was delivered to the U of G Archives. Not soon enough for the shelving it has been stored on, as it shifted and nearly collapsed. The passing of memorabilia to the U of G has been in the works since 2000.
Who is the lad showing this heifer? Trying to find the info to write on the back of this photo from the 1998 Autumn Profile that was held in Renfrew. There was a handful of Charolais shown that day, mostly from Eastern Ontario. #solvingmysteryphotos#jfhistory
Looking for the name of the lass showing the heifer in this photo at the 1998 Autumn Profile in Renfrew so I can write it on the back. I don't think there were too many Guernseys shown, so I hope it stood out. #solvingmysteryphotos#jfhistory
Whitby's Central Library is now home to memorabilia of Junior Farmers from the former Ontario County. And there's a really nice Portuguese bakery a block over.
Peel Region's art gallery, museum and archives has an existing collection of Junior Farmers. I added to it today with a variety of back and white and colour photos, papers on events held in the 1990s and this history booklet.
Some Lambton and Zone 5 minute books are too big for my scanner, so I'm trying to digitize them with a camera. Cropping, exporting to pdf format and then combining pages into a document will make it a long process.
The area of the former Wentworth County was a tricky one to find a home for the Junior Farmer history in the area. Luckily, the Hamilton Central Library was happy to take the memorabilia I had. It's an impressive library.
Simcoe County Archives was one of the first established archives in Ontario thanks to efforts by the Women's Institutes. Its collections cover many topics including Junior Farmers, which goes back to early 20th century one-month courses for farmers' sons. I was able to add to it.
Inside the Prince Edward County library in Wellington is the local archives. They now have a small amount of material of JF history. It would be great to see more rural youth organizational content to be preserved and publicly available with some more donations.
