There is seriously people on this app who are going to try to gaslight you into thinking that the Bears potentially building a stadium here is a good idea
@cartierfamilyZ@lilmoemusic Was he the coach or administrator? Why do you even care so much about this case? Never see yall talking about any other crimes outside of racially charged ones to get clicks .... lol
Kevin Warren never had much credibility with #Bears fans to begin with.
So for him to come in below expectations is impressive.
Somehow, it appears he topped himself yet again with another mind-numbing act of self-sabotage. (1/2)
People bitch that the McCaskeys don’t have enough money to run an NFL franchise so they should sell the team.
They come up with a plan to increase their revenue and now people bitch that they won’t stupidly waste billions of dollars in taxes to a bankrupt state government who doesn’t care if they stay or leave.
Do you want the McCaskeys to be rich enough to run a competitive NFL franchise or do you want them to stay in the corrupt state of Illinois for the sake of history and nostalgia?
From a business standpoint this is the easiest decision of all time.
Gee, I wonder if this long abandoned South Side stretch of steel mills, the ones adjacent to the proposed new stadium and on the water.
Will they suddenly receive development interest?
You bet your ass
This is a black mark for the morons who run Chicago, but that aside, this is probably going to be a terrible business decision. Two hour drive for the affluent fan base on the North Shore, demographics on the IL/IN border are not conducive for premium ticket sales, etc.
Indiana is open to helping facilitate buying out the Bears’ lease at Soldier Field, which runs through 2033, to play earlier in Hammond.
If shovels were put in the ground this summer, the hope is for the Bears to make a bid to host the Super Bowl in Northwest Indiana by 2032.
@PilotTalkXX@itsmine49 They shouldn't, which is why fans shouldn't be mad about Hammond its a win win ... let Indiana make our favorite team rich so we can spend on talent and coaching and whatever else
Genuinely asking was there this big of an uproar when the Giants and Jets moved to New Jersey
Or when the San Francisco 49ers moved an hour outside of San Fran
Or when the Dallas Cowboys moved to Arlington
My honest take is that right now Kevin Warren is squeezing the nuts of every politician in Illinois including Pritzker. They have to give him everything he wants… which is more than what he wanted last week and do it very quickly. He has all the leverage. A final decision will be no later than July 1
Business is business is it not? Bears fans cant want the bears to sign the best coaches and high priced free agents and not want them to also do whats best for the team money wise
