Aang lost his entire people and carried the weight of ending a century-long war. Korra endured repeated physical and psychological trauma, losing her sense of identity and struggling through PTSD.

Comparing their suffering misses the point they both faced immense pain, just in very different ways.

Appa tearing up at seeing the sky Bisons is all the confirmation you need to know how much this loss burdened aang. If Appa a literal animal could get so unbelievably emotional. Imagine the weight aang had been carrying.

I'm not seeing anyone be actually "constructive", its just glazing or trashing. So my personal take is: This looks fire but I wish it had more of its own identity. Ik it's just a playtest, not even a demo or alpha, but the animations are p much ripped from KH

My theory is a climate change allegory.
Korra warned humanity. When humanity did something stupid, they tried to go to her to wash their hands of this, but this hydra grew enough heads that it was too big for her to solve. Humanity chose to scapegoat rather than accept fault.

And this is why Aang is a master and quite frankly I’ll argue that he’s the most powerful airbender ever.

Tagah only defeated Aang in their first fight because he was already empowered by the staff at that point, the staff which wields greater power than the Avatar State, and he hit Aang with an airbending technique Aang never knew about. So in their second fight, when Tagah tried the same trick, still being empowered by the staff, it simply didn’t work because Aang had already learned and mastered it and was able to counter it with the move Tagah taught him earlier, and he did so without using the Avatar State. This just shows how incredibly powerful Aang is without being the Avatar; he by himself is extremely powerful regardless of the Avatar State or the other bending disciplines.
