a girl no older than 10 came into my store. out of nowhere i heard her go "miku, miku, you can call me miku"
so, naturally, i walked over to her, bent down to her level and asked "are you larping, or can you name 15 miku songs?"
when she couldn't, i kicked her out. #GateKEPT
Went to see Backrooms and a couple came in and the dude smelled like weed and musk. Movies absolutely should have strict policy’s. Also make theater members have special private showings so if people are breaking policies they can be removed!
Dennis Rodman would go party in Vegas, take enough cocaine to kill a bear, drink copious amounts of alcohol and them fly back to an nba finals game and lock up Karl Malone.
This guy drinks a glass of wine and can't podcast for 3 days
Perfect example of Whoop stats controlling someone’s life
3 glasses of wine might make you feel a bit groggy if you don’t drink all that often, but I can almost guarantee looking at data on a screen about how bad it made your sleep will make you feel 10x worse
Over-optimisation and micromanagement of health creates less health and more fragility
The discourse around Mixtape is fucking exhausting. Why must every project be a controversy?
For me, Mixtape is fine, but it is undeniably a video game, and it’s a project that can only exist as it is in the format of a game. Interaction – however minor – is at its core.
This is all true, but also it ignores perhaps a more important point. The absurdly rich have, throughout human history, been the biggest patrons of the arts. Very few others have the capacity or the desire. Annapurna has published some of my favorite indies (games and movies) and I am glad they exist, even as I think Mixtape is a big miss.
visual novels are the foundation of your favorite narrative games today, always innovating games as a whole. put some respect on the genre.
Hideo Kojima said a visual novel inspired him to work in games. Final Fantasy or JRPGS wouldn’t exist without visual novels.
