I may sound like a stupid yank but soccer’s penalty rule is so silly. It’s really entirely vibes based and can completely decide games. Refs are afraid to call it and players fall down instead of making real attempts at goal in the box

What’s sad about the ending of the Rockets-Nuggets game is that I’m not surprised anymore. I don’t think the refs are biased one way or the other, but the standard of NBA officiating has gotten so atrocious that I expect games to be decided on calls like that on a nightly basis
