🚨New Wager Locked!!
⚾️#MLB: Tigers vs Pirates
🗓️Today at 9:35AM PST
25* Under 8.5 (-112)
Paul Skenes (even in a down year) is facing a depleted Tigers lineup at PNC Park favors today and I’m predicting a low scoring game.
Skenes enters at 9-11 with a 3.88 ERA, 166 strikeouts, and 1.12 WHIP over 134.2 innings. He’s not the 1.9x ERA Cy Young version of prior seasons but he remains a high-K arm capable of limiting damage against a Tigers offense missing multiple regulars (Riley Greene, Kerry Carpenter, Matt Vierling, Parker Meadows, and others). Detroit’s season line sits around a .243 average and roughly 4.5–4.6 runs per game.
Jackson Jobe (1-1, 6.23 ERA in just 8.2 IP this year post-Tommy John) is the wild card. He threw five scoreless in one start and got hit hard for six runs in 3.2 innings in the other. He’s unlikely to go deep, which puts more pressure on the Tigers’ bullpen, but the overall Detroit staff has been strong (Team ERA 3.56).
PNC Park also plays near-neutral to slightly pitcher-friendly on home runs in most 2026 metrics, and the recent series already produced a clean under (Pirates 4–1 on Tuesday after an 8–5 over the night before). Neutral weather (mid-70s, light wind) doesn’t give either offense a big offensive boost.
Good luck everyone!🍀
