I found myself struggling in clinic when I had to communicate with a patient post-stroke with dysarthria. That interaction showed me the importance of patience when working with these patients, as I often had to ask them to repeat things #CCIVc2023

@CarmenMeliSPT I had a similar experience in my ICE! It was great to experience cooperation between PTs, OTs, SLPs, and nurses and see how good communication can improve patient care #CCIVc2023

I was surprised most in clinic by how much I enjoyed working in an inpatient rehab setting. I am glad I got to have this experience, as I have always been more outpatient-focused and am excited about learning more about this setting over the next few months. #CCIVc2023
