We attended the Kratom Ban Hearing in Tennessee on March 11, 2026.
For some odd yet suspicious reason, they conveniently ran outta time to discuss Rep. Esther Helton-Haynes ban bill HB 1649 titled “ Matthew Davenport’s Law.”
His toxicology…
"Diphenhydramine, Mitragynine, Duloxetine, and Buspirone intoxication." Manner of death: Accident.
Diphenhydramine — Benadryl — is listed FIRST. His Benadryl level was 3,000 ng/mL. The published fatal range is 1,000 to 4,000 ng/mL.
The committee members knew ahead of time that a bunch of us were flying in from outta state because we had to submit witness slips.
The Tennessee hearing scheduled this week has been rescheduled for next week on 3/16 & 3/18
Thank you to everyone who attended and we know it is a sacrifice but need an even bigger turnout next week.
We must keep the pressure on lawmakers.

Just a reminder, you should never use Kratom. Unless you're trying to kick a heavy opioid, you should never put it in your body. You can get addicted and it can screw up your life. Don't listen to anyone saying otherwise. I see too many young people taking it because it's legal.
I was walking. I could not fathom driving.
Yes, I know they said ice after the snow, but I was not ready for that layer. I figured my body weight would break the cap🥴---- it did not 😳
My lesson of the night.....
When there is sleet ((small ice balls that aren't big enough to be true hail)) after the snow the snow will not sink when you step on it........... and you may slide on ANY slight incline.
STAY SAFE OUT THERE ❄️☃️🧊!!
Ugh....
THIS is your update & attention bc I didn't have time last year and this year is starting off so good that I don't have it here either.
So here you go bc I think all people should be extended Grace 🙆♀️💁♀️
