That’s not the issue. The issue is he got over his skis on a war in which he could not define strategic objectives, at all, or that could be met at any acceptable cost. He missed earlier opportunities for an off-ramp where he could have consolidated the impressive operational gains that damaged Iran’s war machine and continued to contain a weakened but still dangerous Iran. Then, spiraling toward a global economic crisis out of control, he made wild threats that he would have been wrong to carry out. They produced just enough movement for him to have the fight leaf of an off ramp now that actually gives Iran wins it would not have had if he had wrapped up earlier, but leaves the United States less credible and more isolated.
This is nauseating. A true ally would help return a wrongly deported individual. A decent administration, having conceded its error, would insist on it. We have neither.
The exact logic of Hitler’s claim to, and conquest of, the Sudetenland. There are Russian-speakers in numerous of Russia’s neighbors. Will Putin get US backing to help them all “join Russia”? In the case of the Baltic states, that will trigger a NATO obligation to defend them.
Florida farm fields have a history of abuse & exploitation.
So, years ago, most major retailers, including Walmart & McDonald's, joined the Fair Food Program - to promote humane working conditions & fair wages.
Publix and Wendy's still refuse to join.

Senator, why do you think private businesses deserve a pass on having to use E-Verify?
Why should local governments have to vet all their hires that way to ensure legality - but not agriculture and other private businesses?
Your bill speaks clearly even if your tweets don't.
Honored to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Farmworker Association of Florida in Apopka today!
Founded in 1983, FWAF has grown to include over 10K members across 5 offices in the state with a long, strong history of working for social justice for Florida’s farmworkers.
New (well, last fall) book by Eduardo Neves, possibly the most important figure in Amazonian archaeology, argues that Amazon population at time of contact was 8-10 million--almost twice the previous generally accepted estimate: https://t.co/rOG4cwcdrB /v @andre_biernath

What a book by @glenndavisstone! This early Xmas gift to myself contextualises how industrial farming came about historically and gives encouraging message about neoagrarians. Engrossing read!
Today I spoke to the Political Discussion Club at @UHScougars_OCPS! We talked about the role of a State Representative in Tallahassee and here in our community everyday, what it’s like to be a public servant and how young leaders can get involved too! Go Cougars!
