National Park Service takes down slavery memorial from President’s House in Philadelphia. Grotesque. An absurd effort to deny visitors the opportunity to acknowledge the existence of, and learn about history of slavery in America. Rewrite history. Who does that? Apparently we do.

So I grew up in New York as a huge Yankee fan (now a devoted Phillies fan, of course) and idolized Mickey Mantle. No question that he was better than Mays and Snider. Well, no. With some adult perspective, nobody was better than Willie Mays. Ever. Willie died yesterday. Say Hey!
