@Thunderballs007 I don't have an alternative tho. I the reason the Broccolis did nothing was partly the lack of a standout candidate (esp vs their complete love for DC). Always thought Jack O'Connell would be good gritty Bond, but they would go in a different direction post-DC. DV suggests not

Who would've thought that Harry Saltzman's money issues in the 70s would eventually, and via a very twisty route, effectively force MGW and BB's hand into giving Amazon creative control of James Bond.

@TheWizardOfIce A terrible idea. Didn't always agree with the direction the franchise took (throughout, not just DC's years) but you knew the Broccolis had the franchise in their hearts, it was nurtured and cherished in a way it simply won't be by one of the biggest corps in the world. Bugger
