That’s why actual good triple a titles succeeded because they only had the base game and some dlc to keep things fine. And there’s replayability and mods that don’t cost money for shit like this. If anything they never updated there old characters, they mindlessly steal from other media that was popular at the time (mainly Zelda), and the reason it’s going 50 million is because soulless gamers have been mostly spending micro transactions on the game.
