The Government of the Republic of Somaliland cautions the public, media, diplomatic partners, and the international community against coordinated attempts to impersonate official government channels and circulate fabricated statements.

Djibouti is about the saddest little dictatorship I’ve seen.
Its ruler, Guelleh, is terribly corrupt, creaming military base rents off for his family while Djibouti’s children stand ragged on its streets and impossibly busted-up highways (often undriveable even w/ 4x4h).
@umutcagrisariii The history will never forget Turkey for its war against Somaliland. After regime change in Iran and collapse of NATO, Turkey is the next Syria, and your people will come to our streets for begging. Then we know what to do.
Epstein mentioned Somalia 294 times, Somaliland 54 times, Djibouti 95 times. When you read all of it, the Somaliland version is all positive and has nothing crime, but in Somalia and Djibouti, it's all about dhiiqo.
But you are only focusing on this file, which says we can invite Muslims and exclude anything immoral.
@med_hassan26 Djibouti's frustration has nothing to do with regional stability. Their nightmare is strong, united, and peaceful Somalia, or recognized Somaliland.

Translation of this communiqué from the unelected regime of rump #Somalia🇸🇴: “OK, OK, you caught us red-handed pilfering @WFP food aid paid for by the generous taxpayers of the #USA🇺🇲. Now can’t you just forget this ever happened and simply resume sending us stuff to steal?”🤣
Somalia is not a country. The US recognized the entity in Mogadishu in 2013, and the rest of the world followed the suit.
Now, it's time for the Trump administration to revoke that undeserved recognition and keep Somalia's failed state in Chapter VII.
From Dahir Riyale Kahin to Donald J. Trump: #Somaliland’s 2003 Truth About Somalia Is Finally Acknowledged
In 2003, the third President of the Republic of Somaliland, Dahir Riyale Kahin, said that Somalia is not a country and is only regarded as one because it claims Somaliland.
More than two decades later, U.S. President @realDonaldTrump repeated the same reality from the White House and again on the global stage at the World Economic Forum, saying:
“#Somalia is not even a country. It doesn’t function as one.”
Two presidents. Two eras. One truth.
Somaliland was right all along.
President of the Republic of Somaliland, H.E. Abdirahman Mohamed Abdillahi (Irro), has returned home today following an official visit to Davos, Switzerland, where he participated in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting.
During his engagements, the President highlighted Somaliland’s enduring record of peace, democratic governance, and its growing role as a reliable partner for investment and regional cooperation.

At the World Economic Forum, I conveyed to global leaders and representatives that, for 34 years, the Republic of Somaliland has fulfilled the criteria for international recognition and continues to exemplify peace, stability, and credible investment opportunities.
𝗧𝗵𝗿𝗲𝗲 decades, 𝗙𝗶𝘃𝗲 presidents, 𝗢𝗻𝗲 consistent position on 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗼𝗴𝗻𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻; clear evidence of determination, continued stability & democracy in action.
Somaliland’s 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝘁𝗲𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗱 stands as a 𝘂𝗻𝗶𝗾𝘂𝗲 success, 𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘂𝗱𝗹𝘆 𝗼𝘄𝗻𝗲𝗱 by its people💪.
It was an honor to engage key stakeholders and leaders on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos. My remarks highlighted Somaliland's distinctive historical journey, our right to self-determination, and the transformative promise of Israel's recent recognition for bilateral ties and regional harmony. I noted that recognizing us strengthens global stability and rewards merit. I concluded with a call to forge win-win partnerships in Red Sea security, trade, technology innovation, and joint efforts against extremism.
