The Japanese invented the QR (Quick Response) Code. It was developed in 1994 by Masahiro Hara from the Japanese company Denso Wave, originally designed to track vehicles during manufacturing. Today, QR codes are used globally for a wide range of applications, including mobile payment systems, product tracking, and quick access to websites.
