As I said, your heart's in the right place, but your cortisol level is WAY too high. You know why she used a young, white male as the model, I know why - and *everyone else* who's seen the ad knows why. Her comms team knows why.
She got her message across. But if your view prevailed, the MSM could have used it to gone on from now till the election about what cold-hearted racist she is, and potentially motivated these slackers to sober up and hand their ballots over to a harvester. So what if the few young white males who are in that category are similarly motivated? If you're pissed of on their behalf -well, I'm not. As we both agree, they are too few to matter. And I have no sympathy for those few anyway.
I get what your saying. I just disagree with the strategy, for that reason. That's all. If that makes you call me one of their bitches, so be it. I've been called worse.
P.S. I don't know what a race neutral AI created cartoon similar to the Simpsons would look like. I've never watched the Simpsons, but aren't they white?
@MagadonianMemes@seanmdav I like people who can disagree over strategic decisions without being disagreeable. I thank you for that.
So, maybe the problem really is that GOP candidates, and voters like me, are their bitches. Since you argue so persuasively, I shall reconsider my position.
@MagadonianMemes@seanmdav No. She'd be attacked as racist, etc., if her example of of a welfare recipient were more representative of the class.
Your heart's in the right place, but I doubt you'd ever be hired as a political consultant.
@Steve_Sailer In Grutter v. Bollinger, Sandra Day O'Connor wrote for a Supreme Court majority that that DEI should be gone in 25 years. That was 23 years ago.
@KurtSchlichter Imagine being disappointed that your child is heterosexual. I can't.
I get not being disappointed when your child turns out to be gay.
But, I mean, what has she got against straights?
@Steve_Sailer@FistedFoucault I don't know that it's true, but if it is, it would explain a lot. COINTELPRO, to cite one salient example.
Ditto for that rumor about Hitler.
@BrianDOLeary@Steve_Sailer@FistedFoucault The gay rumor is almost certainly true. IMHO. The other one? well, it's not impossible, but it will probably never be proven one way of the other.
@Steve_Sailer@curiouswavefn They should have sued for peace after their failure to achieve the goals of the Pearl Harbor attack. Or if not then, after Midway. But no. Cooler heads did not prevail.
