@DominicCarterLA@baezfelipe A NAS is fine. FCP has a mechanism to ensure you only open a library from one client at a time. Cloud storage is harder because services may not sync the whole library bundle at once. Cloud services with strong bundle consistency guarantees should be fine, but few meet that bar.
It's amazing the difference a few days and the right light can have on a scene. Last weekend, the trees on Sheffield St. in the Manchester neighborhood of #Pittsburgh were mostly green. Yesterday they were the perfect mix of fall color with some absolutely perfect evening light.
@Vordio @macvfx A reboot might also clear the cache. The quarantine bit is set for anything downloaded over http(s) or AirDrop, and the warning means the app is not signed with a valid developer signature (like from App Store or notarization).
@Vordio @macvfx Mat's correct about the use of `xattr -d -r https://t.co/mVyDgvquLl.quarantine`, but gatekeeper (the system service responsible for this) caches information about each file so you probably need to re-download the file from https://t.co/5FvTzvGysz and then re-run `xattr`.
@MarcSettle My father-in-law once marched into a Starbucks and asked for some Yuban. He was approaching 80 at the time and fresh from helping me sand drywall. And wearing a tie as a belt. I think he enjoyed playing the deranged old coot...
@editblog@marcplanb FCP will cluster GPUs, but only if they are identical and are on the same bus. So two identical PCI GPUs in a 2019 Mac Pro will cluster (that's particularly nice when they are connected via Infinity Fabric), but FCP will never use an eGPU and an internal GPU together.
