It’s likely most wasabi you’ve had has been fake, because real wasabi is hard-to-grow and its flavor lasts a short period of time. https://t.co/eQnpCSpPr9
The Warriors lost a fourth straight game AND four more players to injury Friday night. Steve Kerr indicated Al Horford is likely to miss time with a calf strain. They play in New York, Boston, Detroit and Atlanta this week, sinking toward the 10th seed. https://t.co/RkTiJRzP3U
Some of the frivolous September purchases made under Secretary Pete Hegseth’s stewardship include a $98,329 Steinway & Sons grand piano for the Air Force chief of staff’s home, $5.3 million for Apple devices such as the new iPad, and an astronomical amount of shellfish, including $2 million for Alaskan king crab and $6.9 million worth of lobster tail. (Lobster tail is apparently a favorite of Hegseth’s Pentagon—the department spent more than $7.4 million total on the luxury item in March, May, June, and October.)
In other pricey food purchases, the government decided to drop $15.1 million for ribeye steak (again, just in September), $124,000 for ice cream machines, and $139,224 on 272 orders of doughnuts.
How can DiCaprio play a younger Kilmer when Kilmer was 35 at the time and DiCaprio is 51 now? How can Christian Bale, 52, play a younger Pacino when Pacino was 55 at the time?
If the USA Women’s Hockey team wants a real celebration and invite ,,, I’ll host them in Las Vegas. Do some nice dinners and shows and good times. I’m sure I can get a hotel and airline to help me out here and celebrate these women for real for real.
First player ever to notch 1K rushing yards and 1K receiving yards in the same season.
Congratulations brother. This Hall of Fame nod is overdue, and fully deserved. #RogerCraig#HoF
This, from @DavidAFrench: “One of the saddest things about the killings of Renee Good and Alex Pretti is that you could tell that neither of them seemed to know the danger until it was too late. They believed they were operating in some version of the normal state . . . where the police usually respond with discipline and restraint.” https://t.co/RHbvZJIdmv
Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara: "People have had enough. This is the third shooting in less than 3 weeks. The MPD went the entire year last year recovering about 900 guns from the street, arresting hundreds of violent offenders, and we didn't shoot anyone ... this is not sustainable."
This video clip appears to show a federal agent already in possession of the victim's handgun and moving away when the first shots are fired. In other words, they suggest that the victim was disarmed, on his knees and being held by a bunch of guys when he was shot in the back and killed.
