His arm’s poked out slightly, seemingly a hesitant gesture he’s working up the courage to execute.

Jimmy looks at Kara in awe for a beat or two, frozen in place. Suddenly, he snaps back to reality and realizes that he’s been staring too long.

“Well, aren’t I the luckiest guy in Metropolis!” Jimmy starts awkwardly. +

Her cheeks turn pink, having heard his little comment with her super hearing.

@MalevolentHeian @evilkarazorel Ig the ending is open ended enough to where (though I don’t think the show supports it) they could maybe just stay friends from here on out. But literally every second these two are on screen it is PAINFULLY clear that they are end game. Delaying the inevitable won’t change that

@MalevolentHeian @evilkarazorel // oh my biggest issue isn’t even the interpretation of this singular scene in isolation. It’s the idea that Jimmy needs penance/deserves punishment for his actions (as quoted by one of the show runners).

Karolsen’s not for everyone so if someone wants them to not be romantic+

She darts around the crash site.

"I wonder what species constructed it is? Are there passengers? What caused it to crash? Should we inform Kal-El? Can we pilot it if it is empty?"
