It was a brand new demonstration Volvo C40 from @VolvoCarUK / @jeanettegriggs.

The vehicle is all electric and shocked many motorists who were breaking the law.

Not driving to conditions meant 2 Pumps from fire, one ambulance, two police cars, a closed A3 - and the driver didn’t have an MOT on his once prized C63 AMG. That’ll make for an interesting call to his insurers #drivetotheconditions

This vehicle sparked our interest as it entered Cobham Services - its insured to a female but was being driven by a man.

Checks confirmed he was uninsured.

An expensive method of getting a KFC!

Vehicle seized and driver reported.

‘Road tax’ doesn’t exist anymore.
It was abolished in 1937.
It’s now a Vehicle Excise Duty (VED), or an Emissions Tax.

Roads are paid for out of general taxation (council/income + VAT etc)

Those that don’t pollute, don’t pay.
The more you pollute, the more you pay.

The M25 remains CLOSED between junction 6 and 8 due to this flooding.

@HighwaysSEAST have managed to pump enough water to get the hard shoulder running, so those trapped in the closure will slowly make their way through.

Police are now resuming and HE will continue to deal.

The driver of this Porsche couldn’t afford insurance...but continued to drive. In a very unwise move he attached false number plates to his vehicle, hoping to evade prosecution.

What actually happened was he turned a simple no insurance stop into a criminal offence / record.

Sadly this driver earned themselves attention from another police unit after driving out the services like a fool and rudely gestured at officers for good measure 🙄
