@think_starwars I never said people had an issue with him or his performance. Just that I don't think he's a significant needle mover for a general audience beyond the more core SW fans who'd likely show up regardless (again, I like Adam for the record).

@think_starwars I just think the general response to the last film (and the one before it to be fair) have burned a lot of bridges. We've seen the diminishing returns of a 'franchise' in real time with the MCU when the quality is inconsistent and SW (sadly) is probably deeper into that process.

@think_starwars I think you're overestimating the box office appeal of Adam Driver (no offence to the guy, he's great). I'm also not convinced that a large audience cares how compelling it would even be. 'The Saga' doesn't mean much to the average movie-goer.
