@Skibididdler_ Keep in mind that this is just your theory on how the arc will end. The arc could conclude due to a disease, a side effect involving the Knights, the tool in the library, or a massive combined attack. That is why some people end up disappointed when arcs come to a close.
@Skibididdler_ I never considered Imu omnipotent. My point is that characters with multiple forms, and various abilities should be treated separately—analyzing fights from the 1,2,3 forms.Once we know all his abilities—including his including his past strength, I classify it.
@Skibididdler_ After taking Gaban's attack, Imu literally transforms and says he should have eliminated them. If Imu were already at full power and showed nothing else, that would be one thing; but as long as he keeps revealing abilities, I can't classify him.
@Skibididdler_ I know that; I was talking about the moment right after the "Dawn Thor Bullet," when we didn't know what happened to Luffy. That's why I can't say for sure whether or not Imu forced Luffy out of Gear 5—I'd rather wait and see.
@Skibididdler_ Sure, everyone has their own opinion, but just answer me this: why would Imu be trash? Wouldn't Luffy—who, in your view, is getting beaten up for nothing—be more "trash"? Or Loki, who insists on taking hit after hit while barely landing a single blow?
@Skibididdler_ We don't know what happened after Luffy hit the ground, so it's still up in the air; it wouldn't be right to make assumptions yet .And if the "hax" is part of the character's power, using it doesn't diminish that power—regardless of whether someone else doesn't use it.
@Skibididdler_ Just to avoid getting stuck in an endless comment thread: for instance, how do you rank characters like Loki, Gaban, and Luffy? And what feats or attacks would Imu need to display to move up in your rankings—would it be defeating a Hybrid Form Loki, or stopping a Bajrang Gun?
@Skibididdler_ It remains useless; Imu only sustained superficial wounds. If you consider any attack weak, that’s your problem. If you’re into that kind of "powerscaling," why don't you wait for the fight to end and all the attacks to be executed?
@Skibididdler_ You were taking Gaban's statement seriously to justify Luffy's power. Now, you should also make an argument regarding the state of Luffy's body.
Maintaining Gear 5 is to Luffy's credit; to downplay Imu, you would have to compare him to characters who underwent the same thing.
@Skibididdler_ No matter how many things Luffy uses, he’s still himself. Loki isn't just lightning; it's a combined force—literally an extra-large Ragna Izuchi. You disregard Loki's strength and the destruction his attack causes in favor of visual elements.
@Skibididdler_ The conversation was perfectly normal until the "headcanon" started. That attack destroyed a huge part of the Adam Tree and literally caused an earthquake across all of Elbaf—which is much larger than any island; you are intentionally downplaying the attack.
@Skibididdler_ Also, why are you bringing up the "Genius" form and Jet Gatling? Jet Gatling wasn't used against Imu, but rather against the bombs. You mention Gaban's words, yet Luffy goes back to relying on combo attacks and being useless on his own.
@Skibididdler_ But Luffy already used Dawn Gatling, and it didn't make a difference. Even against Kaido, all he did was deflect Kaido's attacks (Blast Breath and the lightning bolts) and land those punches; the only truly "Yonko-level" attack is Bajrang Gun.
@Skibididdler_ That "Jet Gatling" used in Gear 5 is strange and doesn't follow the established pattern—even the Japanese community noticed this, wait and see if it remains in the volume release, just like how Imu's statement about the "power of evil" was incorrect and subsequently fixed.
@Skibididdler_ Luffy is literally pushing himself to the limit to maintain his form, and he rightly says that he could die once he comes out of it.
What kind of argument is that? Dropping out of Gear 5 depends on the amount of energy Luffy has.
@Skibididdler_ You question the way Luffy fought when he couldn't hit Imu; that attack from the genius happened when Imu was distracted, so even if it caused damage, it doesn't change anything.
@Skibididdler_ Embarrassed by Gaban? He used his two greatest moves and unleashed one of them while Imu was focused on Luffy, yet all he managed were superficial wounds—and Imu was still taking damage from the fall into the underworld, which wasn't to Gaban's credit, just a strategy.
@Skibididdler_ Resisting the effect of the swords is to Luffy's credit, but in the end, it changes nothing.
Luffy was helpless and would have died if not for Gaban. It isn't to his credit that he's still active—he relied on outside help. That doesn't diminish Imu in the slightest.
