@sysxplore I see that your cheat sheets are now all available on GitHub. How does the non-commercial only work? Am I prohibited from using the guides to do my job, or just prohibited from selling them or making money from them them?
Here are the new HP Manageability Integration Kit releases for MECM/SCCM. Only 2403 and newer is supported - https://t.co/qJKrMJP2dd - #HPMIK#MECM#MMSMOA#HP
Maintenance Windows were announced for the Intune Settings Catalog.
That sounded pretty nice...
OS updates, drivers, firmware, install actions, restart actions, all wrapped inside a proper maintenance window Settings Catalog
But then the "What's in development announcement" suddenly disappeared.
The Settings Catalog announcement is gone, but luckily, the Windows Update CSP still documents the maintenance window settings.
So the Update policy itself is still there. The Intune UI part is the bit that vanished.
For now, it is back to using the Custom OMA URI if we want to deploy and test this new maintenance window

With Get-HPSoftpaqList in CMSL 1.8.6, in order to download the requested reference file, add this option to the command line: -ReferenceUrl 'https://t.co/LJpvoNnwTL' #HPIA#HP#MMSMOA#MECM#INTUNE
@dan_felman@jarwidmark Good tip! I ran into the same problem with it failing to download the reference file with the default URL so I tried the backup and it worked!
HP Image Assistant 5.3.5 release includes a new /SubCategory option to limit/filter the type of drivers to analyze, like network or graphics only. Check it out #HPIA#MMSMOA#HP#Intune#SCCM
HPIA next major version (still in dev) will not require BIOS pwd for BIOS updates for most current systems with appropriate BIOS credential settings. Will still require for some older systems or where we find an issue with a BIOS family. Just FYI
11 weeks until the Secure Boot KEK CA certificate expires.
The April 16th Speed Date workshop sold out -- so I'm running Round 2 on April 16th.
Same format:
- 4 hours on Microsoft Teams
- Walk through the BIOS assessment tools live
- Cover multi-vendor databases, readiness scripts, and deployment approaches
- Leave with a plan for your environment
If you missed the first one, this is your shot.

Your iPhone has been stolen. The thief turned it off. Find My shows “Offline.”
Your data, your photos, your mobile banking—it’s all in his hands.
But if you’ve set up these three things beforehand, the thief is just holding an $880 piece of metal that can’t be touched.
@horizon_secured The suggestion to run this from a domain controller seems kind of crazy because in a lot of organizations the team that manages workstations don't manage domain controllers.
The phase 2 requirement to create a service account with domain admin rights also seems kind of crazy.
@SImac_IT I experienced this same issue when upgrading from 2409 to 2503. I the SQL ODBC v18.6.1.1 before I started the upgrade and the upgrade failed. It took a little time, but when I rolled back to v18.5.1.1 the upgrade completed.
SQL ODBC 18 v18.6.1.1 released December 17th isn't playing well with configuration manager during installation. When creating the database, it throws an error merging a null value into the LU_LicensedProduct table. Reverting ODBC driver to 18.5.1.1 did the trick.
