The family are facing eviction from a home they turned from derelict into a safe place to live — based on incorrect and misleading case info. The council calls it a 3-bed parlour. It’s a 2-bed. They claim only one adult lives there, citing a council tax letter that actually names two.

Rent statements stop at Nov 11 — just 4 days before a rent card was finally issued. There was no account to pay into before that. Despite weeks of calls and emails chasing it, nothing came — until it finally did, and rent was paid immediately. This is missing from the council’s evidence.

They’ve ignored recorded letters, left out key communications, and withheld the tenancy agreement for nearly a year — only to quote from it in their evidence, showing a page marked ‘1 of 18’ that the family have not been given a copy of after numerous requests.

The home is well occupied and fully utilised. It’s not just a house — it’s the centre of a family network where childcare is shared, cousins gather, and their autistic nephew Matthew often visits because the garden and setup meet his sensory and emotional needs.

Both parents took their final journeys from this home before being laid to rest. The family feel their presence in the home and remain spiritually and emotionally connected to it.

The house is walking distance from the children’s school and the nursery where their mum plans to return to work — once her youngest son’s current health diagnosis is addressed. If evicted, they’ll likely be placed in a hotel, cut off from school, their GP, and family support.

The family respects everyone’s right to be housed and respects the pressure the council are under. However, there is no economical sense in this approach. Why pursue legal costs and hotel placements instead of investing in empty council-owned homes that, if made liveable, would generate rent and council tax and house families in genuine need?

The privately owned property next door is used by the council for emergency housing and is in such a bad state it is now uninhabitable with the ceiling falling through — a huge difference to the well-kept, well-loved, self-maintained council property the Kennedys brought back to life 20 years ago. They fill the street with laughter and are always on hand to help neighbours in need, as can be read in multiple neighbours’ letters.

If you remove families like this from communities, you don’t just evict them — you tear apart the very fabric of the community itself. You erase the quiet, everyday care that holds streets together: shared meals, help with the school run, someone knocking to check if you’re okay. Once you break that, it doesn’t come back.

@Hillingdon have set a hearing date in a few weeks. The family not only have to build the mountain of documents to support their case but also bring attention to incorrect information that is present in the council’s case.

Interesting that you waste resources kicking people out homes who actually respect their home community and invest in making it safe. Rather than directing those resources at making fit the empty houses in Hillingdon because you can’t be bothered to try to build a home back you want to destroy instead. The Kennedys had the heart to turn a derelict house into a fit home. With blood sweat and tears. That lack of attitude today is literally what is wrong with this country. The Leader of Essex County Council is demanding that the Government ditches plans, set to be announced this evening (Thursday June 25 2026), to increase the numbers of asylum seekers at the Wethersfield camp in Essex by more than 60%.

Later this evening the Government will announce plans to utilise the full capacity at Wethersfield, increasing numbers from the current 766 to 1,245, the current maximum ‘surge capacity’ because of the closure of 20 more asylum hotels.

“I have a simple message for the Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood – Enough is enough. We are not a dumping ground for the result of a failing asylum system.

“Closing hotels is one thing but shifting the impact onto Essex communities is unacceptable and this is what will result from this increase.

“Those impacts are felt by people in towns and cities miles from Wethersfield itself – in Braintree, Colchester, and Chelmsford – because that is where the men living at Wethersfield are bussed to and from every week.

“As a consequence, our police are having to deal with incidents of illegal migrants with nothing to do with their time but hang around town centres and get into trouble, committing numerous crimes, behaving anti-socially and harassing people including women and girls. This stretches police resources as well as our own public health and mental health capacity.

“Essex County Council has said from the very beginning that the location of Wethersfield – in a rural heartland 11 miles from the nearest town – is completely wrong for a facility of this nature.

“I will be seeking an urgent meeting with the Government, and local partners including our Police, Crime and Fire Commissioner to challenge this latest afront to our residents.” Cllr Peter Harris, Leader of Essex County Council.

This is shabir Ahmed. Shabir lived In Oldham werneth coppice he received 22 years for abusing children from Rochdale . The youngest 12 . Not only did he abuse them he trafficked them around his friends and staff . One of the things that's ALWAYS bothered me about shabir ahmed is he was employed for many years as welfare officer by Oldham Labour Council . He had access to Oldhams most vulnrable children .

His case load was never investigated

It would be lovely if people on the right could re-focus their energy back onto amplifying the horrors of the rape gangs where children as young as FOUR were targeted.

It took an 10 year investigation with the NCA to finally get them to court and go to trial, all 5 was found guilty on all charges against me this was for the sexual assaults, rape and trafficking me around England.

They was found guilty in 2024 with sentencing ranging from 6 years to 25 years for the abuse they inflicted upon me.

The NCA said in their statement this was some of the most horrific and worse abuse they have investigated since the investigation started.

2 years later I’ve got a letter saying that their prison sentences could be cut by 33% and have early release!!!! How is that possible how can they do that to us survivors it’s like been let down all over again !!!

The Labour Party are happy to let some of the most dangerous monsters back on to our streets to further abuse more children!!!

I can’t make sense of it all that hard work and determination to get justice for it to be laughed at when in reality us survivors have the real sentence it’s a lifetime sentence and it’s not fair !!!

They were last seen together in the Preston Bus Station area at around 9pm on Sunday 21st June.

Whilst it’s thought they may still be together, they may no longer be, so please keep an eye out for both girls either together or separate.

Bonnie is 5ft 1in with black hair. She was last seen wearing an orange and black leopard print jumpsuit and sunglasses.

Freyja is 5ft 2in with dark brown hair, which she was wearing in loose curls. She was last seen wearing a beige jacket, cropped light blue jeans and grey New Balance trainers.

Over a thousand wind turbines across Britain contain banned ASBESTOS in brake parts supplied by Chinese manufacturers .
The chrysotile asbestos banned in Britain since 1999 was found in lift and hoist brakes . A major and very expensive ( paid by the taxpayer ) clean up operation is now underway with costs expected to be substantial .
Not forgetting if any of those brake pads broke and the asbestos got into the ground the fibres don't break down they would stay in the soil for a longtime making the land contaminated meaning it couldn't be disturbed with digging or grown on . Dangerous stuff if airborne

My views as I’ve gotten older have changed and I do agree with you in principle, ofcourse. The grey area for me is that ok - example let’s say it becomes law you can’t have an abortion and must carry life to full term and deliver. What we cannot do is tell a woman you must now be a mother. So then what, as a society who wants unborn life to have a chance where do they go in this world? Because we’ve heard about the children’s homes visited by saville the dead babies found in church basements. This isn’t all of the world I know. But I do believe many woman would carry their unborn child to term if the world was simply better and that responsibility is on all of us. The logic is of course that an unborn life should have the opportunity to be protected and born. Should things like the morning after pill be available and maybe also early abortions maybe. But not as standard and slowly I believe you get to a world that is better comes back to its morals and community holds one another accountable. The black and white argument is easy. It’s everything else that really matters in swaying the people and hearing people out so eventually they see there is another way.

The rape gang inquiry was released last week & what these predominantly Pakistani men did to young British girls is unthinkable.

They committed racist crimes & believed they could get away with it by playing their Muslim or "brown" card.

Our own establishment helped cover it up. From police officers who were themselves sexually assaulting the girls, to social workers who didn’t want to appear "racist," & even the NHS all failed these victims. The NHS saw the horrific injuries inflicted by these men on innocent girls yet discharged them straight back to their abusers.

Then there was Labour, who thought they could get away with it all. Traitors.

Personally, I can’t see how we can ever progress as a country without delivering justice for all these women & girls.

The fact that it is still going on today & our government is facilitating it.
