Between the 2026 Presidents Cup and the 2025 Ryder Cup, guys going all five sessions have a 1-6-1 record in singles when matched up against players who have sat at least one session. Cam Young beating Ryo Hisatsune is the only win, and the talent gap there probably explains that.

Don’t see a path to victory anymore for the internationals. Matsuyama and SW Kim wins would put them on 14.5, meaning Lee and Taylor combined have to get a full point while being 1DN currently.

I like that everyone doing the "benching Scottie was crazy" takes are just competely ignoring his level in the morning. He hit 10/17 GIR, made one putt outside of 5ft, and if he'd been made to finish every hole, would've been 3-over on his own ball. This isn't PGA Tour Scottie.

The X/Pat pairing reminds me of Ian Poulter. Their reputation is gold but their performance flows with their overall game. When Poults was Top 30 in OWGR, he was 11-2-0 in the RC. When he wasn't, he was 4-6-2. Maybe X/Pat worked because they were both Top 5 golfers in the world.
