Ronald van den Berg, a Masters student in Biomedical Engineering and UCT MedTech member, presented his research proposal for his thesis project, "Design and Development of an Extracorporeal Device for Normothermic Cardiac Perfusion" this morning.
Ron's research is focused on creating an innovative extracorporeal device designed for normothermic cardiac perfusion, a critical advancement in the field of cardiac medicine.
Mentors Prof. Sudesh Sivarasu, and Dr. Jithan Jacob Koshy supervise Ron regarding this research.
