#zhanglinghe 🔥 #Overdo 🎬
murong qingyi instantly became my favorite character out of all the roles that zhang linghe ever played, and one of the most well developed & complete character he ever portrayed.
we get to witness every important stage of his life. we meet his pure personality when he still became a doctor in beiping. then three years ahead, after his released from prison, bitterness and resentment have begun to take root and we see how it affect his personality too. finally, six years later, we see him carrying a far greater responsibility as the principal of the aviation school, determined to carry on his big brother's legacy.
murong qingyi is such a layered character that he gives zhang linghe plenty of room to explore, grow, and challenge himself as an actor. the role didn't just allow us to see his ability to create chemistry with so little romantic part, but also his ability to portray complex emotional conflicts and compelling dynamics with other characters around murong qingyi. from quiet moments of vulnerability to intense confrontations, he convincingly captured every stage of murong qingyi's emotional journey. I've watched all of zhang linghe's dramas, and I genuinely think this is his best performance to date.
this drama is not a perfect one, but it has undoubtedly given zhang linghe the opportunity to showcase his acting range and prove that he's far more than just a "pretty face." from romantic scenes to heavy emotional scenes and also the fighting scenes, he can portray it very well.
i think i’ll love jake for the rest of my life… seriously. even if one day i drift apart because that’s life. he’ll always be engrained in my soul and being because i am , afterall, a museum of what i have loved and will love.
❌ he talked about the flowers
✅ he never mentioned them at all
❌ he did the live directly after that concert
✅ the live was 4 days later, after a different concert date. In fact 3 concerts have passed
❌ what he said made her a target
✅ he never mention anyone specific, everything was very generic and countless idols have expressed similar sentiments.
If you have any human decency at all, stop using a tragedy to further your hate agenda that you’ve been carrying for years. He’s been a victim of your cyberbuIIying since 14 years old. Constantly twisting and making up lies about his words and actions and misaligning his character.
Just like that poor girl who you thought your words wouldn’t hurt, behind the name plate of a group, he is just a human with feelings who experiences grief and sadness like anyone else. You never know when you’ll drive someone to the edge, and you’re slashing word daggers at someone who may already be having a hard time.
It’s easy and convenient to blame a fandom or idol, but cyberbuIIying is a much broader issue across society, and it’s evident even right now since many people from other fandoms who don’t even have the facts right are all chiming in to say the worse about someone they don’t even know. It’s hypocrisy at its peak to preach about cyberbuIIying while engaging in cyberbuIIying.
Mental health is a complicated and sensitive topic, and it’s one I wish everyone would take more seriously. Idols, fans, or anyone - Get help and seek help if you find yourself with unhealthy thoughts. Have compassion and empathy for others, but also have compassion for yourself.
Don’t rely on any one person for your happiness. That is too much of a burden to place on anyone. They don’t live in your shoes 24/7. No one can save anyone at every moment. I hope that everyone can learn to love themselves more. If you really love someone, the greatest gift you can give to your loved ones is to treat yourself with love because then they don’t need to worry.
Please, treat your heart with kindness and protect it fiercely. Even if you feel all alone in the moment sometimes, you matter so much to someone. So please hold on. Light will come to find you in the dark, just as you are the light to someone else’s darknesses. You are loved more than you know.
