Gurudwara Shri Jhari Sahib, situated in Tegray Village, Pakistan, is located only 1.3km away from India's border.

In the 16th century, Teesri Patshahi Guru Amar Das Ji Maharaj stayed here, and the devoted villagers built this Gurudwara in his memory. For the next four centuries, this historical place remained one of the main centers of Sikh pilgrims.

After Partition in 1947, this sacred place was abandoned. Today, its holy remnants need restoration and preservation. We must treasure our history and heritage."
