Last year, about 1 hour after I announced in the class WhatsApp group that I was dropping out of the PhD program and left the group, my classmates called me. They thought I was dropping out because I couldn't fund it so they wanted to raise money in the group and pay my school fees.

Now, what struck a chord was not the intention but what one of them said, "You know that if it were someone else, nobody would really care but this is you".

I have never done anything spectacular for anyone in my class, except lending them my notes. It took me several readings and readings before I understood what was taught but they assumed I was good because I read for long hours. Those long hours could be just about 4-5 pages but I still managed to share the little I understood.

Whatever you do, please remember that in a world where you can be anything, be KIND. I no be saint o, I get small bad mouth but that never prevents me from being kind. I go tell you wetin I wan tell you and still do wetin I suppose do for you. My father said "Be KIND to all KINDS".
