@morris_atc@Popeye_Saylor I see your swim meet and raise you tennis but it is never the athletes that ask. I referred them to massage therapist I know.
@TurnBomb15@4symbols78 3 for 55 fields you say? Could you not find enough people or was that was what was allotted. Were you at a centralized med station or spread out and how do you spread 3 people out amongst 55 fields? Was it hot out?
Did you know:
Athletic Trainers in the military generate a return of $9.48 for every $1 spent by reducing soldier attrition and resulting in significant cost savings via reduced recruit attrition and missed training days.
@NebraskaMegan Should be school policy, not a law. How is it enforceable as a law, waste of resources to have kids detained for cell phone use by police. Even if kids have phones you can lock them down during the day as a parent so they can't get on apps but have for emergency needs.
@TurnBomb15 The art of medicine is amusing the patient while nature cures the disease. - Voltaire
Something to be said for placebo effect if it does no harm and people feel better
@NSATA if i vote on X and Facebook does it count twice? LOL clearly you all need to be giving me your extra 3 musketeers because no one else likes them 😂
@TurnBomb15 or IPC, I hurt myself 5 years ago and it still bothers me what should I do? Go to the doctor about 4.8 years ago is usually my first thought, then proceed to do a full history and evaluation.
@abbybdavis12 Not sure what you consider an old AT but 19 years in I can say it has to do with people being in different seasons of their lives. When you are younger it tends to be all hands on deck with clinical work but the older ATs start doing a lot more admin and advocacy because new ATs
@abbybdavis12 are wanting to hone clinical skills. We also may be at different stages of our personal lives or have learned to create boundaries with work so it doesn’t become our life. I tell my AT students I will never ask them to do something that I wouldn’t do myself.
