🚨 A passenger was reportedly restrained with duct tape and zip ties after an alleged outburst on an American Airlines flight.

According to TMZ, the man allegedly directed a racial slur at a Black flight attendant before becoming violent, reportedly hitting another passenger and pushing a woman who attempted to intervene.

Passengers eventually helped restrain him as the flight was diverted to Baltimore, where authorities took him into custody. 😳✈️

According to reports, Lundeen allegedly made racist remarks and anti-gay slurs, became violent and used profanities during the flight.

Juan Mejia, a retired law enforcement officer, and Richard Olenick say the chaos unfolded about two hours into their flight from Dallas, Texas.

"Everyone who was in first class was basically victimized by his spewing of hatred and the discrimination, and the hostility, and vulgarness that was coming out of his mouth," Mejia said.

Mejia and Olenick, who were sitting two rows in front of the unruly passenger, say they jumped in to help restrain the man using duct tape and zip ties provided by a flight attendant.

American Airlines passenger duct tape to his seat following unruly behavior onboard flight AA618 Thursday night.

Arthur Lundeen, 67, of Arizona, was restrained to his seat with duct tape and his hands were restrained with zip ties, according to the Maryland Transportation Authority Police, which arrested him after the plane landed.

Authorities did not provide details of the disruption that took place during the flight, but the plane was diverted to Baltimore Washington International (BWI) Airport around 10:15 p.m., the Federal Aviation Administration, which is also probing the incident, said.
